Embracing the foundation laid by Hooper Media, LLC in creating the best sprint enduro series on the East Coast, Dirt Road LLC is bringing fresh ideas to make this series even better!
We are making sprint enduro racing more accessible to racers! At Dirt Road, LLC, we are racers and fans, but we also have families and understand the challenges of heading out to a two-day event several weekends a year. That’s why we are implementing the following format changes.
2022 Format Changes
In past years, Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series ran two-day events, with all racers competing both days. In 2022, Full Gas Sprint will still be a two-day event, but racers will compete only one day for year end points – either Saturday or Sunday – depending on what class your racing. Saturdays will be youth and amateur racers only, and Sundays will be the Pro classes.

We will provide our racers with 90+ minutes of racing in a day’s event. By splitting the days/classes, we can run more tests in one day. For 2022 we plan on having all of the big bike classes run 8-10 tests per day. We are planning 6 tests for the youth classes.
2022 Class Points
Since we are the premier AMA Sprint Enduro Series, there will be class points and year-end awards. Stay tuned for official series rules that outline all of the specifics, but we intend to treat each weekend as one round (Youth and Amateur on Saturday) and (PRO and A/B on Sunday) and NO drops for classes. We will the specifics about our year-end awards at a later date, but keeping with our philosophy of doing things better than everyone else, we promise they’ll be cool.

MyLaps Timing and Scoring – 2022
MyLaps is the biggest timing and scoring company in the world, scoring everything from AMA Motocross and Supercross, the Australian 4 Day Enduro, to MotoGP and even NASCAR. We upgraded our MyLaps timing and scoring system to the new 2022 timekeeping software: Orbits 5. To put it simply, their stuff works and it works all of the time.
What does this mean for the racer? Well, for starters, we will be using a real, battery-powered transponder that gets mounted to your fork. So, if you have a sticker transponder on your visor from another series, it can stay without any worries.
Transponders will be available for rent for the cost of $10.00 at every event (a cash deposit or credit card will need to be left to cover the transponder). These transponders will work at any other race that uses MyLaps timing and scoring; they’re not proprietary to the Full Gas Sprint Enduro’s. If you plan on doing all of our events we highly recommend purchasing your own. It will make registration smoother for you and will save you money down the road, as we will be using these transponders for many years to come.

What hasn’t changed?
We won’t be cutting any corners running the events. There will be more track tape used than most race series use in a year, attention to every inch of the track, groomed trails, cool awards, and free event t-shirts to some pre-entries. If there’s anything you’d like to see changed, or any questions you’d like answered, please leave us an email at contact@fullgasenduro.com.
Moving forward into the future with Dirt Road, LLC, the new Full Gas team will be bringing a new vision with us and we can’t wait for you to ride it with us!
