GARFIELD, GA (February 26, 2020) – Hooper Media, organizers of the KENDA Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series presented by AOMC announce that due to conditions at the Lane Farm MX facility, the second round of the 2020 series to be held this weekend is cancelled. Any options for a reschedule will be announced as soon as possible.
Historic rainfall in the weeks leading up to the event had the ground of the Lane Farm property completely saturated before the track crew arrived. Additional rainfall this week has standing water in the majority of the parking areas as well as the woods making it impossible to put on a fun and safe event this weekend.
“This is definitely a decision that I’d rather not be making, but the conditions of the property here, from the entrance road to parking area to the woods for the enduro course make it a painful but necessary call to make,” said series founder, Jason Hooper. “If the parking was fine, but the woods would be a challenge, we’d probably still hold the event, and vice versa, if the parking was tough but we could create two awesome special tests we’d tow people in and out and make it work. But, this is the perfect storm where we can’t get rigs in or out and there’s basically no ground that is usable for a race course,” Hooper added.
Racers who have pre-registered are asked to complete this form indicating if they wish to receive a full refund or have their entry transferred to a later round of the series.
