Full Gas Sprint Enduro Announces First-Ever ATV Event

Full Gas Sprint Enduro Announces First-Ever ATV Event

The Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series is pleased to announce the addition of a one-round ATV event to its schedule for 2018. The first-ever ATV Full Gas Sprint Enduro will take place on Sunday, July 22nd at LL Raceway in Fairmount City, PA, on the same cross and enduro special tests used the prior weekend for the 5th round of the bike series.

Now in its 4th season of racing, the KENDA Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series presented by PRI Powersports Insurance has introduced an exciting new format of off-road racing to the United States. Based off of the format of racing seen at the ISDE and EnduroGPs in Europe, the Full Gas format is racing against the clock, not head-to-head, on two types of special tests, a cross test which is similar to an old school grass motocross track and an enduro test through the woods. Test times range between five to ten minutes allowing riders to race at an intensity unlike any other off-road series in the USA.

“Since the inception of the series we’ve been constantly asked by ATV racers when we would be putting on an event for them. Just like their bike racing counterparts, they are looking for something fresh and fun to add to their racing calendars,” said series founder, Jason Hooper. “With the support of KENDA Tires, we decided that 2018 would be the year for a standalone event run just for ATVs,” he added. “The racers will get to race on the exact same special tests we setup for the bikes at LL Raceway, giving them the authentic Full Gas Sprint Enduro feel that our racers have grown to love. All of the stakes, all of the ribbon, and all of the fun.”

Title sponsor since the very first Full Gas Sprint Enduro in 2014, KENDA Tires will continue its support for Full Gas as it gives ATV racing a shot. “KENDA Tires is so excited to be the title sponsor of the new Full Gas Sprint Enduro ATV Event,” said Jason Baldwin, Director of Powersports for KENDA Tires USA. “With the huge growth of the bike series it only makes sense to add in four wheel racing,” Baldwin added.

The overall Pro purse will receive an additional $1,000 to its 100% pro payback courtesy of KENDA. The Women’s Pro and Utility Pro classes will both be 100% payback.

Online pre-entry for the event is now open at Full Gas Timing. Entries are capped at 200 for the Pro/Am portion of the event and riders are encouraged to register in advance. Classes are available from Youth through Pro and are listed on the event page.
